The Hidden Histories with Thom Hartmann
The War on Voting, The Hidden History
The War on Voting, a Hidden History, is based on Thom Hartmann's book of the same name. Leila Conners and Thom Hartmann discuss the history of voter suppression and how to solve the problem and protect people's access to voting. Understanding how votes have been thrown out and voters suppressed not just in the past but also continuing on a daily basis, today, is critical, as it impacts the viability of our democracy.
The Supreme Court - The Hidden History with Thom Hartmann
The Supreme Court, a Hidden History, is based on Thom Hartmann's book of the same name. Leila Conners and Thom Hartmann discuss the history of the Supreme Court and how the Court's use of judicial review has made it the most powerful of the three branches of government; an outcome the founders and framers did not have in mind. Hartmann offers up several solutions as to how to evolve the Court so that it better serves the people of the United States rather than the corporate interests that currently hold sway over it.
The solution is to make voting a right.
As we build the
new world together.
